On Saturday 1st August the Posh Supporters Trust and CFU came together to help raise money for the Glennfield Care Centre, Wisbech.
Both trusts were at London Road for Chris Turner’s Memorial game collecting £566.73 through a bucket collection and would like to thank all supporters who contributed to the collection.
The Posh and Cambridge Trusts’ also exchanged two specially embroidered shirts (as a symbol of the links that Chris Turner had with both football clubs – and to show unity amongst both sets of fans in memory of Chris) with the details of the game, and signed by players on the pitch at half time. One of the Posh shirts was signed by the players taking part in the game on Saturday and the other was signed by the ‘92’ squad and other retired players. The shirts will be auctioned or raffled to raise further funds for the chosen cause (get ready to bid for these Unique Shirts!).
