"We believe that in due course Peterborough United Football Club should - and will - be owned by the community through the Posh Supporters' Trust and local business and run for the benefit of that community as a whole. We aim to bring companies, entrepreneurs, Peterborough City Council, the charitable and benevolent sector and individual supporters together to form a Community Club to
be at the hub of the sporting and social activities of the City."

aims of the trust
- Acquire shares in Peterborough United, in order to
- attend AGMs and EGMs,
- ask questions.
- Build a substantial membership and thus a mandate to represent the supporters.
- Establish a healthy relationship with the club, with the aim of having regular meetings to discuss matters of mutual concern.
- Gain enough shares to have a significant holding in the club.
- Persuade the club to appoint a representative of the Trust as a board director.
- Remain alert at all times to the possibility of gaining control of the club on behalf of the supporters.
objectives of the trust
- Strengthen the bonds between PUFC and the community and represent the community in the running of the club.
- Benefit (present and future members of) the community by promoting football as a recreational facility, sporting activity and focus for community involvement.
- Further the development of football.
- Encourage PUFC to take proper account of (the interests of) its supporters and of the community it serves.
- Encourage (the principle of) supporter representation at PUFC and ultimately be the vehicle for democratic elections to the board.
- Promote, develop and respect the rights of members of the community served by PUFC as set out in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU.
