Adam Drury

Born in 29th August 1978 in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire.

Adam who represented Norwich City as a schoolboy, joined the Posh made his Posh debut aged 17 in May 1996 when he came on as a substitute in a 4-0 defeat against Oxford Utd.

Nurtured by Kit Carson, Adam was one of Posh’s most consistent performers of the late 1990’s winning the 1997/98 Player of the Season award. His first Posh goal was at Brentford in May 1997 and scored his first Posh goal at London Road against Hull City in February 2000.

Adam helped Posh to secure promotion back to the 3rd tier of The Football League playing at Wembley against Darlington in May 2000. In total Adam made 155 appearances for the Posh in the Football League (138 starting, 10 as a substitute and 7 as an unused substitute).

In March 2001 Adam was sold to Norwich City.

Did you know: Adam was inducted into Norwich City’s Hall of Fame in March 2012.
