Sagi Burton (Saint Kitts and Nevis)

Born 25 November 1977 in Birmingham, Osagyefo Lenin Ernesto Burton-Godwin (know as Sagi Burton) joined the Posh in 2002 from Crewe Alexandra.

In 2004 Sagi was one of three UK-based players (the others being Calum Willock and Adam Newton) to be called up by Saint Kitts and Nevis for the qualifying rounds of the 2006 World Cup. Sagi won three caps for Saint Kitts and Nevis in 2004 making his debut on 2 June, in a 2–0 friendly defeat to Northern Ireland.

In autumn 2006, Sagi turned down the chance to play in the Caribbean Cup for his country, preferring instead to stay with his new club Shrewsbury Town to play league games against Hartlepool Utd and Darlington thus ending his international career.
