This section of the website relates to Posh home programmes from the 1990-91 season to the 1999-2000 season. It shows the front page of a programme from each season as well as providing a brief overview of the contents of the programme.

The 1990-91 season

Yet another new front cover but still a 28 page programme.

Pages included From the bench (the Managers page), two pages on the opposition, two pages on fixtures and statistic, Suppoters Club News page, sponsor pages, That was the season that was page , reserves &  youth team page and a Focus on 4 page. Team details returned to the back page.

With the new look came another new price – 80p.

The 1991-92 season

And another new front cover yet still a 28 page programme.

Pages included From the dugout (the Managers page), two pages on the opposition, Junior Posh, two pages on fixtures and statistic, Suppoters Club News page, sponsor pages, Backpass (looking back to matches played on match date), a page each for the reserves &  youth team and Three Up (a round up of what was happening in Division 3). Team details were on the back page.

With the new look came another new price – £1.00.

The 1992-93 season

Yet another new front cover but still a 28 page programme.

Pages included Talking with Turner (the Managers page), Captain’s corner, three pages on the opposition, Junior Posh, two pages on fixtures and statistic, loads of sponsor pages and One on One (a round up of what was happening in Division 1). Team details remained on the back page.

The price remained the same – £1.00.

The 1993-94 season

A larger programme with a new front page and containing 28 pages.

Pages included Managers viewpoint, Chairman’s Corner, two pages on the opposition, Junior Posh, player profile, travel and ticket information, Commercial News, Captain’s column, two pages on fixtures and statistic, Kit’s column (Kit Carson youth development), sponsor pages and In this week (looking back 30, 20 and 10 years ago. Team details were on the back page.

The price remained at £1.00.

The 1994-95 season

Same sized programme with a slightly different again with 28 pages.

Pages included the Managers In the dugout, In the press box , player spotlight,In the dressing room, two pages on the opposition, a trivia page, Commercial News, two pages on fixtures and statistic and sponsor pages. Team details were on the back page.

The price for the fourth year on the trot was £1.00.

The 1995-96 season

Same sized programme with again a slightly different again with 28 pages.

Pages included the Managers view, One to remember (a look back to a past game), player spotlight, Youth Scene, two pages on the opposition, a trivia page, Commercial News, two pages on fixtures and statistic and sponsor pages. Team details were again on the back page.

A price increase this season of 20p – cost now was £1.20.

The 1996-97 season

Similar front as 2 seasons ago and again with 28 pages.

Pages included the Managers view (On the bench with Barry Fry), Kit Carson column,  Swanny’s press box view, Looking back (past games against the day’s opposition), player spotlight, Youth Scene, two pages on the opposition, a trivia page, Commercial Chat,  fixtures and statistic pages plus sponsor pages. Team details were again on the back page.

Another price increase this time 30p – the cost now of a programme was £1.50.

The 1997-98 season

Slightly different front but still containing 28 pages.

Pages included the Managers view (On the bench with Barry Fry), Kit Carson column,  Edwin Overland’s Sound Bites, Memory Lane (looking back at past games against the day’s opposition), Supporters Club round up, Youth Scene, With the Reserves, two pages on the opposition, Commercial Chat,  fixtures and statistic pages plus sponsor pages. Programmes also contained a ‘Nationwide Review’. Team details were again on the back page.

Price remained at £1.50.

The 1998-99 season

Back to an aerial view of London Road on the front cover and still containing 28 pages.

Pages included Chairman’s Comments, the Managers view (On the bench with Barry Fry), Match Memories (looking back at past games against the day’s opposition), Supporters Club news, a youth page, two pages on the opposition, Commercial Break,  fixtures and statistic pages plus sponsor pages. Team details were again on the back page.

Price remained at £1.50.

The 1999-00 season

Change to the front cover and an increase in the number of pages – now 36 pages.

Pages included the Managers view (On the bench with Barry Fry), From the field of play, The Kit Carson column, Player spotlight, Those were the days (looking back at past games against the day’s opposition and what was happening 5, 10 and 15 years ago), Sound Bites by Edwin Overland, With the reserves, the Posh Academy (youth page), three pages on the opposition, Supporters Club review, Commercial Break,  fixtures and statistic pages plus sponsor pages. Team details were again on the back page.

Price increased to £2.00.
