Match Day Information
Peterborough United is a family friendly club and welcomes all fellow football supporters who come to enjoy all we have to offer at The ABAX Stadium, London Road.
Visiting supporters are normally allocated in Block A / and B of the North Stand. The North Stand is a seated stand. There are 8 wheel chair spaces available for disabled supporters. Please contact the club on 01733 563947 in advance of the match to reserve a space. For ticket prices information please visit the PUFC website: https://www.theposh.com/tickets/home-tickets/. You can also contact the club via their direct line 01733 865674 option 2 (Enquiries/Disabled Tickets Purchase) where a member of staff will happily help you with any questions or queries you have.
There is a KFC opposite the ground, are burger bars outside the ground and tea bars in the North Stand that have a variety of hot and cold food and drinks available. In the city centre which is within walking distance of the ground, there are numerous restaurants / places to eat should you wish to have a meal ahead or after the game
Soccersight (a match commentary service) for partially sighted supporters is available free of charge. Please contact the main reception on 01733 563947.
How to find the ABAX
The ABAX Stadium is located close to the city centre (about a five minute walk) and is easily accessible by road and using public transport via bus and train.
Road From the south (A1): Exit the A1 at junction 17 and follow signs to Peterborough (A1139) onto the A1139 Fletton Parkway. Exit the Fletton Parkway at junction 3. At roundabout turn left onto the A1260 Nene Parkway. Take first exit and at roundabout turn right. Turn left at the next roundabout onto Shrewsbury Avenue. At T-junction after half a mile, turn right into the A605 Oundle Road. Follow road for one mile. Access to the stadium is straight on at traffic lights just before the town bridge.
From the north (A1): Exit the A1 at signpost Leicester, Peterborough North A47. Turn left onto the A47. Exit the A47 after 5 miles, at junction 15. At the roundabout turn right onto the A1260 Nene Parkway. Exit the Nene Parkway after 1 mile. At the mini-roundabout by the Gordon Arms turn left onto the A605 Oundle Road. Access to the stadium is straight on at traffic lights just before the town bridge.
From the east (A47): Exit A47 at junction 18 and follow A15 all the way to the stadium.
At the ground there are 12 disabled persons parking places for home and away fans (these are only allocated to Blue Badge holders). The disabled persons parking places are provided free of charge to disabled season ticket holders and match-day attendees on a first come first served basis. If you require a disabled parking space please contact the club on 01733 563947. There are also numerous disabled drop off points located around the ground.
Unfortunately there is no other public car parking available at the ABAX. However, there are a number of car parks in the near vicinity of the ground; in particular Pleasure Fair Meadow Car Park Oundle Rd, Peterborough PE2 8AT, Riverside Car Park, Peterborough PE1 1EF, UK and the Car Haven Car Park, Bishop’s Rd, Peterborough PE1 1YX all of which are less than a ten minute walk to the ground.
Bus National Express buses to the city generally arrive at our Queensgate Bus Station. This bus station is only a five minute walk from the railway station, 10-20 minute walk from the ground and a number of Stagecoach buses can be caught from there to the ground.
The 3, 5 & 6 buses stop within a few yards of the ground. Please check the Stagecoach website (https://www.stagecoachbus.com/) for more details and the 3, 5 and 6 timetables.
Train Peterborough railway station is located near to the city centre and is a 10-20 minute walk from the ground. To get to the ground from the railway station turn right out of station and head towards the main road (Bourges Boulevard). Turn right and head towards the big roundabout. Use the pedestrian underpass and head past Asda. At the traffic lights, turn right and the ground is situated on the left hand side over the town bridge.
There are of course plenty of taxi cabs available from the Railway Station to the ground.

Why Not Stay Over in Peterborough?
Peterborough is a cathedral city at the heart of rural East England with excellent links to other parts of East Anglia and London. Why not make the match just part of a weekend or longer stay? Peterborough has some fantastic shops, our cathedral is well known for its Gothic facade, the Peterborough Museum (located in a former hospital building) has a reconstructed Victorian operating theatre, we have Flag Fen, a Bronze Age archaeological site, Nene Valley Railway, which is a 7.5-mile heritage railway, plus we have a number of theatres in the city.
